Monday, July 09, 2007- This is the problem with mr lupus
He treats everything like a dead or alive game
The story
Hilmie took a quick glance at the back, the ball was in the air moving towards the goal
No
The ball sent by my teammate was not strong and fast enought to break the fortress of the goalkeeper
A quick finish should do the trick
The problem was..
No one else was there
Only me, the goalkeeper and the ball two metres from the ground
Eyes were on me
I knew that there was something to be done
But what?!
The answers were all around my head
Cant deny that they're there
Which one was it?
I just have to catch one
Yes, just one
There were no blood and strength in my head that moment. Head the ball into the goal? No, that's not the option. Something weird struck me. Something i knew that is impossible. NO. Nothing's impossible, why not take a chance? A risk.
The ball was still in the air, Hilmie tapped the ball with his right foot gently sending it in the air AGAIN, this time higher.
Not knowing that the goalkeeper,Twice my body weight, like a bull headin for the red cloth.
He leaped into the air, i could feel it, the earth felt so much lighter.
I retrieved my right foot from the air trying to make a perfect landing, and at the same time waiting for the size five soccer ball to bounce into the goalpost.
BUT
I forgot something, what goes up must come down, Newton's law, gravity.
My werewolf sense brought me into play.
The goalkeeper was brought back down to earth due to gravity.
But it was different,
he didnt land on the cemented floor
Together with his body weight, he SLAMMED ON MY LEFT BIG TOE
I smiled when i took a quick glance at the toe, it looked normal
Really normal
Play on
It was a disastrous night for me. I couldnt sleep, i was screaming out all the taboo words. Yes all, some that i dont even know. It was german i guess.
A fracture perhaps
Or its history repeating itself, but now to my left big toe
recap
(last yr it was my right thumb)
Last year i broke one of the veins in my right thumb
during shuttle run NAPFA
The problem now is
i can't even feel that toe
i can't move it
The feeling is like having funnybone continuously
ONLY WORSE
Bone or vein?
We'll find out on wednesday
To SATA for x-ray
"Cause it feels so empty without me"
